About PayFlex

We are a Third Party Administrator working directly with Employers to administer their benefit spending accounts, COBRA and Transit programs.

Over the past 20 years, PayFlex, based in Omaha, Nebraska, has worked its way into the top 10 list of Third Party Administrators providing these Benefit Administrative services.

We did this by becoming an expert at processing claims and managing dollars for over 6,000 employers representing several million eligible lives. In fact, this year alone, we will adjudicate over 3 million spending account claims representing nearly a half a billion dollars. You don’t effectively and accurately manage half a billion benefit dollars without doing some things right.

What we do “most right” is to pay these claims more quickly and reliably than anyone else in the industry. In fact, we measure how fast we pay and how reliable we are and will gladly share those audited independent results.

What are we most proud of: We have exhibited the most growth with the least amount of marketing spending compared to anyone in the industry over the past three years.

What does this mean: This means we have grown by word-of-mouth customer referrals from “overly satisfied” clients that like to tell others about their PayFlex experience. Instead of spending marketing money to hype our services, we instead choose to invest our profits into improving our processing infrastructure, partner with a world-class disaster recovery center, and our own proprietary administrative system and debit card platform. We know that having our own system and debit card platform enables us to deliver what the employer wants and needs versus “selling them what we have.”

Where are we going: We know that by doing the things that made us one of the national premier Administrators isn’t necessarily going to be enough to keep us in that position forever. And since we are not satisfied with being average, we have made plans to raise the bar for the next generation of Administrators.
